This unfortunate event for Cutler, by all means I wish him well, may(or may not) have played a role in the Dolphins second consecutive “come from behind” win. Backup quarterback Matt Moore came off the bench and, as he has done many times before, help lead the Dolphins to a win. Matt Moore hit a bump in the road early as he threw an early interception in the half to safety Marcus Maye.
After Matt Moore shook of the rest of the cobwebs, he seemed to settle right back into the offense and brought the Dolphins back from down two scores to tie the game 28-28 with :22 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Matt Moore finished the game with 188 yards on 13 attempts and two touchdowns on top of the lone interception. “The great thing about Matt is he’s a veteran,’’ Adam Gase said. “He’s done this before. He has a great knack of going out there and playing without fear.”
Cornerback Brandon McCain was able to put the ball back in the offenses' hands when he intercepted a pass from Josh McCown that was intended for Jermaine Kearse. After a five yard Jay Ajayi run, kicker Codey Parkey kicked a 39 yard field goal to put the Dolphins up 31-28. The Jets tried to create a miracle in the end but to no avail. Defensive end Terrance Fede recovered a fumble as The Jets tried multiple laterals with no time left on the clock.
I take my hat off to the Miami Dolphins defense and defensive staff. After giving up 21 points in the first half, Matt Burke’s defense held the Jets offense to only one touchdown in the second half. In the past three games(all wins), the Dolphins defense has held opponents to an average of 4.7 points in second half play. This effort has allowed the Miami offense to shine as they have outscored their last three opponents 43-14 after halftime.
The Jets started the game strong as the Dolphins struggle to get the ball rolling. But once again, the Miami Dolphins showed a resilience that was echoed through Jarvis Landry’s post game statement. “Like I said man, they got to stop doubting us. This team been through everything man, we been through hurricanes, we been through 16,000 miles(on the road travel), we been down two weeks in a row, and do it like this. I can’t be proud enough.” I think Jarvis Landry spoke for all Dolphins fans when he said this. The Dolphins have been through a lot but continue to fight hard to be seen as a contender in the AFC this year.
The Dolphins have a short week as they are back on the road again. This time the Dolphins face up against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank stadium in a prime time matchup Thursday night. The Ravens are sitting at 3-4 after coming off a loss to the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. The Ravens have lost two straight and hopefully Miami can capitalize against a struggling Ravens team who has seen better days. But because the Baltimore Ravens are known for playing tough through all four quarters, the Dolphins shouldn’t take this game likely.

Great blog man. I:be been a Dolphins fan since 1970 and I hope their good fortune continues. However, the Ravens seem to have the Dolphins number as they have beaten them the last 3 times they've played against each other.
